Great Fun at the District Cub Quiz
Cubs packs across the district have been busy preparing for the District Cub Quiz Final.
A busy day!
Each pack sent their winning six along to compete for the District Shield, with our District Chair Alastair Dodds being the quiz master.
A great afternoon was had by all, with packs from Skelmorlie, Largs, Ardrossan, Saltcoats, Stevenston, Kilwinning, Bourtreehill, Irvine, Dalry and Beith taking part. The day started off with games before getting down to the serious business of the quiz, which was over 3 rounds.
Everyone did fantastically – the scores were very close – but 102nd (Beith) were crowned the winners and get to take the shield home. They were also presented with medals.

Thanks to Dorothy Taylor (ADC Cubs) for organising and running the event, to Alastair Dodds (District Chair) for making up the questions and to all the youth members and leaders that came along to support this event.
