52nd Ayrshire Cubs Host Awards Ceremony

This week, 52nd Ayrshire 1st Saltcoats Cubs had their winter award ceremony. Below is a word from Lynne, one of Saltcoats’ cub leaders:

“The cubs have been working extremely hard with a grand total of 131 badges being issued. This event was very well attended with our cub’ and their families singing Christmas songs, a mince pie and tea/coffee also a raffle ……..a good night had by all !!

Three of our cubs received their Chief Scout Silver Awards, Ross Milne, Harris Milne and Airren Taylor. Proud moment for cubs, their parents and our leaders, cubs rewarded for all their hard work.

We invested Christopher Reid into our pack last night, the previous week Kyle Mitchell, Rebecca Gilmor, Baxter Watterson, Lochlan Moore, Callan Tyler and Athan Roberts were also invested.

Our cub family at Saltcoats is now 26, including leaders. We look forward to earning more badges, having Fun, making memories, and hearing what our young people’s ideas for our programme are for next year”
